Allie is originally from the East Coast and graduated from Denison University in Granville, Ohio, with bachelor of arts degrees in history and education studies. While in college, she became a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Fraternity. She then served as the program coordinator for Denison's Campus Leadership and Involvement Center, where she advised Interfraternity Council leaders and developed leadership curriculum and officer transition retreats. This experience inspired her to pursue her master's of education in counseling, which she earned from DePaul University in Chicago in June 2018. Allie comes to Sigma Chi having specialized in college student development, and believes that fraternity leaders, when empowered, can make lasting and positive social change. She will soon become a Licensed Professional Counselor in Illinois, and is excited to develop the Fraternity’s education and leadership initiatives as its new curriculum development coordinator.
The curriculum development coordinator works within the Membership Development department supporting the Fraternity’s education and learning initiatives. This includes curriculum development and implementation, membership database administration and data tracking for Sigma Chi's learning continuum, Preparation for Brotherhood pledge program, Ritual for Life post-initiation training program, Balfour Leadership Training Workshop, Huntsman Horizons Leadership Summit, Crossroads drug and alcohol education program, and alumni training.
